Crystal Cruises also combines educational tourism with adventure travel in their “You Care. We Care” Program. Travelers are given the opportunity to volunteer their time in a local community at a a selected port.

Travelers have numerous dining options on Crystal Cruises. The ships also feature large wine cellars. Travelers enjoy a variety of afternoon teas – Viennese flavors in the Mozart tea, white tie and tails tradition in the English tea or the charming southern American Tea.

Education and enrichment are a large focus on Crystal Cruises. Travelers are encouraged to discover a new language in the Berlitz program, learn to play an instrument with Yamaha, explore health and wellness with the Cleveland Clinic, learn about fine wine with the Society of Wine Educators, learn Tai Chi with the Tai Chi Cultural Center, improve their computer skills with the Computer University@Sea, improve their bridge game with an accredited ACBL instructor, and learn from celebrated people in the arts, politics, science, theatre and movies in their Crystal Visions series. Cruise Critic states, “Crystal Cruises has one of the most loyal repeat customer bases and appeals to a multi-generational group of travelers”. Crystal also features theme cruises on science and technology, wine and food, big band and jazz music, ballroom dancing, fitness and sports, golf, and special cruises for their Crystal Society past cruisers.

Evening entertainment consists of the Avenue Saloon and Crystal Cove piano bars, Connoisseur Club cigar lounge, Pulse, the dance club, dancing in the Starlite, Stardust and Palm Court, Broadway style shows in the Galaxy Lounge, movies, casino, Waves and Fantasia for young kids and teens. Travelers can take dance lessons and single female travelers can meet and dance with specially selected Ambassador Hosts.

Laxminarayan Temple – Delhi
Delhi Tourism

The Indians call it Birla Mandir. So, if you’re catching a cab, that’s what you would tell the driver. Often, your pronouncEments of the name of a location or site is different to the locals than to tourists. It gets tricky. But, Delhi Tourism got me there with no problem. The temple was really beautiful. The guide was impressive in her explanations. It’s one of the few times that I’ve come out of a temple feeling that I would like to go back and see it again. No pictures were allowed inside, though. The Indians call it Birla Mandir. So, if you’re catching a cab, that’s what you would tell the driver.
