    have bought a logan petrol a year ago from global gallery (thane) the kinda problem am facing
    1.was promised some assescories which were not provided
    2.the car gave me some problem from day one which was further rectified
    3.the handles of the car wears out every nw and then.
    4. the side lights pops out over an over
    5. the air conditioner isnt working
    6. the back door mirror isnt working
    7. on my second service they compnay or the dealer didnt have a air filter and couldnt complet e my service
    8.the car isnt giving me the average as promised
    9. it woobels after 100km /hr
    10. the stairing seems a little jam and isnt as free flowing as other vechiles which was revert back as a feature for safety.
    there a few more small complain s about the service and the dealer

    which have occured before the third service and before 200000 km..
    i feel cheated with the purchase and is totally unsatisfied with the result

    I purchased 1.4Glx on 7-11-2009. from first day I have problem in accelector padel. I complained many times to my dealer “East Africa Motors – Godhra’ Gujarat, but every times they give me many excuses and are unable to solve my problem. I found to be cheated by purchasing this car with this problem. I will have to aproch to customer court if my problem not solved now.

    I purchased logan 1.4GLX on 7-11-2009 from ‘East Africa Motors – Godhra’ Gujarat. from first day my car has problem in acceletor padel. I complained it many times to the dealer but they are unable to solve my problem and they come out every time with many excuses. there service is very bad. if my problem is not solved now I will be forced to go in customer court against the company and dealer.

    I had been to an important meeting on – 07/01/2011 with my CEO and GM Designs to IMTEX a trade fair organised every year. After reaching the VIP parking of the venue, remote locking stopped working(purchased and fitted at your acessories shop ACE Acessories India garage ST Marks Rd), the front door got jammed. I was not able to lock it manually nor leave the car as i had important confidential documents in it.
    I had called your sales rep Mr Chandru of India Garage to do the needful.
    He had contacted autocop and they had called me and informed me that they could reach the place only in the evening.
    After few frantic calls with Chandru someone from India garage Peenya workshop called me and asked for driving directions and informed me that they would reach ASAP.
    I had waited for 1 hr , missed the meeting and then enquired the location of India Garage Workshop in Peenya.
    To my shock i was informed it was only 3 kms from that place and i was asked to come to workshop.
    I reached there in 10 mins got the door lock repaired and Autocop Fuse replaced.
    On 08/01/2011 window handle of driver side came out and there was no circlip which was supposed to grip the handle to the shaft.
    On 09/01/2011 again the Remote locking Autocop stopped.
    I strongly suspect substandard wiring quality or a duplicate Autocop Model was installed.

    It gives me great pain to hear the music from my management for missing the meeting (depend on old maruti 800 rather than logan for imp meetings) booing and leg pulling from my family members, colleagues and friends regarding the sorry state of my new car.
    Already i had lost the feel good factor of my new car, i request you to send me or look into the inspection report before delivery of the above mentioned vehicle in India garage palace road branch on 05/01/2011 , service report of repair done at India garage Peenya workshop on 07/01/2011, do the needful to have a through check up all the parts by a qualified technician from your service dept as going to workshop for 2 days within a week of taking delivery makes me feel that people in service dept are either experimenting or finding temporary solutions instead of giving permanent solutions like road side garages, i had completely lost confidence in the service dept of your India garage peenya workshop for not checking the wiring and just replacing the fuse.

    Hi,

    I purchased my car in chennai and was driving for a year in Bangalore. I had frequent mileage drop after every service. Services are done by Mahindra Authorised dealers.

    My biggest worry and complaint is now the body got rusted specially in the boot (Dicky) and it is much visible. I have not got any respectable response from the Mahindra dealers to take the responsibility. I am finding that i was cheated and also at the verge of filing complaints in consumer court.

    Dear Sir / Madam

    I am putting this on record after suffering badly from very bad
    quality service & workmenship rendered by M/s Shiva Auto Car (India)
    Pvt Ltd. at their workshop in Sahibabad, Ghaziabad, UP.

    I gave my car for Paid servicing on 21.08.2010 the car was returned to
    me in the late evening without doing complete job, as these were
    Ramzan days & most of the staff were keeping roza and use to leave
    early without doing their complete work as told to me by other staff
    present in their workshop. The Air flow setting of AC of my car was
    disturbed after opening the dashboard for attending a loose wiring
    leading to cabine-door light. I paid Rs. 6696/= for an incomplete
    job.

    I registered my complaint to their telecaller & they promissed to
    attend & rectify the defects. After persistently following up they
    agreeed to attend to the incomplete jobs and on 31.03.2011 they
    attended to Air flow setting of the car. The AC air flow was
    adjusted but the connections of the CD player were not made which I
    checked up after comming home as the mouth of the CD player was not
    allowed in the w/shop. Also the car was now returned in the evening
    making noise from engine in idle running condition. I had to pay Rs
    2065/= including Ac service charges & Misc work charges to the tune
    of Rs. 800/=

    Imediately I pointed out these defects which were not there when the
    car was given to their workshop in the morning. My car was then
    picked up by the workshop staff on 03.02.11 & I was told on phone that
    the noise comming from engine was from AC Motor belt or Alternator
    belt bearings which need to be changed, I pointed out & submitted the
    certificates of extended warranty of my car.

    After doing all the formalities my car was returned to me on
    10.02.2011 (after 8 days) after changing the Rubber pads of the gear
    box, torque rod etc and the alternator as told to me for which they
    had reportedly taken sanction from M/s Mahindra. Again I had to pay

    Rs. 3424/= including Rs.1100/ = towards Gear Box O/H and Misc work.

    When the car was returned to me the AC air flow was again disturbed
    and when I repeatedly took up the matter with them and questioned as
    to what type of service is given by them they agreed to adjust the AC
    air flow properly.

    On 16.03.2011 they picked up my car and took it to their Sahibabad
    Workshop. I was told over telephone that a box in the AC from where
    Air flow is directed is Broken & needs replacement. The cost of the
    box as told to me on phone is about Rs. 10000/=.

    When I contended with them that the car has been attended thrice by
    them in their workshop it was never told to me that this part of the
    AC is broken. More over the car has never been attennded by any other
    person other than their staff in their workshop how this part can get
    broken except due to mishandling by untrained staff or bad
    workmenship of their staff in the workshop.

    I told them that since my car is under warranty and the damage if any
    to the AC part has been caused by them at their workshop for which am
    not going to pay. Further, I insisted that the AC part need to be
    changed by them at their cost or under the warranty terms.

    After all this they dropped my car at my residence on 16.03.2011 with
    out attending to the above defect or replacing the broken AC part.
    this has been told by the Driver of the workshop. On checking the air
    flow of the AC he told that the defect has not been attended. He
    brought a bill of Rs. 176/= for Misc work which I refused to pay & I
    spoke on phone to Mr. Thomas of M/s Shiva Auto about the same he
    advised the driver to leave the car.

    After suffering so much due to bad workmenship mishandling & poor
    customer care & customer service I feel dejected & repent my decision
    to buy a Logan Car from M/s Mahindra.

    I am putting this complaint with a hope that the above defect in my
    car is rectified and the broken Ac part in my car is replace
    immediately as my car is still under warranty till August 2011. I have
    suffered so much for which M/s Shiva Auto is made accountable.

    Hope to get solution from M/s Mahindra urgently.

    WE HAVE PURCHASED A LONGAN PETROL 1.4 L CAR IN JULY 2008 FROM MAHINDRA & MAHINDRA SHOWROOM, BHUJ, kUTCH, GUJARAT. WE ARE IN GANDHIDHAM AND THE AUTHORISED SERVICE STATION AT GANDHIDHAM (45 KM FROM BHUJ) IS AS GOOD AS NO SERVICE STATION FOR LOGAN CAR. THERE IS ONLY ONE PERSON ESPECIALLY FOR LOGAN SERVICING WHO IS ALSO NOT QUALIFIED. WHENVER AND WHATEVER PROBLEM THE CAR IS SENT TO SERVICE STATION, EVERY TIME THE FELLOW ASKED TO SEND CAR TO BHUJ SERVICE STATION. WE HAVE FOLLOWING PROBLEM WITH THE LOGAN CAR ;
    01. FUEL PUMP HAD TO BE CHAGED, THANK GOD THE CAR WAS IN WARRANTY PERIOD OF ONE YEAR.
    02. RUSTING STARTED ON BODY
    03. WE HAD TO REPLACE AC COIL
    04. WE HAVE TO KEEP LOGAN CAR IDLE FOR JUST NON AVAILABILITY OF PLUG, CAN ANY ONE BELIEVE IT ?
    05. RECENTLY, THE CAR IS NOT GETTING PICK UP IF WE USE AC. WE HAVE BEEN ADIVSED BY GANDHIDHAM AURTHORISED DEALER THAT THE FUEL PUMP IS TO BE CHECKED. FOR WHICH I HAVE TO SEND THE CAR TO BHUJ ONLY.

    HOPE TO HERAR FROM RESPONSIBLE PERSON IN MAHINDRA.

    My Logan KL01AX4725 is not a good car as was believed. I was surprised that the clutch is worn out with 33000 kilometres and is not covered. I just want to confirm if this is so and if it’s true the reliability of this car is in question. The service personal seem to be keen to replace the whole set which was estimated to be Inr 13 to 14 thousand. There is no point in buying a good engine with substandard accessories and am afraid if I can afford to maintain the car in future. I may better sell it now and look for a reliable model. The service here is too slow as well and you must wait for ages and on their convenience is all that matters.

    I am also owning a Logan Car. I was also very much excited and felt very proud to own a sedan. Before this I was driving a Maruti Zen. Now already three years have passed since my purchasing this car.
    The following problems I am facing with the car :
    1. Sound of the door locking mechanism – This seems to be a major manufacturing defect in the car. Everytime I take the car for rectification of the same, some bush change is done and it does not solve the problem. In fact I found that no one in interested to solve the problem bby any root cause anal;ysis and goes for quick fix solutions which are always futile.
    2. The door one one side and the dicky cover has developed some marks. With my knowledge of engineering, I am sure that this has happened due to bad painting procedure. This type of problem can only happen in case the surface preparation is not upto the mark or there is moisture intrusion during application of primer. The saddest part is that even after I have dropped the car in the workshop (M/s Royal Motors/Kolkata) on 28th June 2011, till today there is no response from the workshop. On enquiring from my side, I have been advised thatthough the complaint has been conveyed to their principals, there is no response from their side.
    3. Insensible attitude of the workshop people is also a matter of concern.
    After handling this car for last three years, i am now convinced that such experiment of buying new variant of cars should not be resorted to.
    Everypone should be discouraged to buy Logan, which will only increase their woes.
