Logan is the face of European low-cost manufacturing that plays out many manufacturers worldwide, now heads to India-paradise low-cost manufacturing. Releases Expected :

Mahindra will launch its new vehicle called the ingenuity of 2008. Ingenio, which is expected to replace Bolero, can be aggressively priced at Rs 5 lakh, just above the 4.5 R-lakh Bolero. Mahindra Renault can also launch five or seven seats ie version of Logan, Logan MCV (Multi coexistence of vehicles).

    I have very bad experience with Mahindra Logan. I buy a 1.6 GLS petrol Logan from your showroom at Global Gallery Thane on April 2008. From Mahindra or your showroom no one is come for demo of your car after delivery. They tell me gift around 30000 thousand something but now after 1 year I not receive any thing. I call up on Mahindra help line 10 to 20 times but no reply from that side. I have many problems in the car but workshop people not able to solve after three services.

    I am really unhappy with this all things

    I would like to share an experience I recently had with Logan servicing
    I own Logan DLX F. Black, Nov 2007, 54,000 kms running, great car
    An electrical component failure occurred as the headlights will not turn off even with switch off and ignition key off. I assumed that the head light switch/module may be shorted. So, I learned from the owner’s handbook and located the fuse box and disconnected the fuse
    I called up the service center in Kochi and the person in charge told us to contact the nearest dealer, i.e., in Kottayam as it is a MINOR problem. Since, it was URGENT for me to fix it, I went to the nearest dealer (47kms from my place) and came to know that the service center is 1 km away, with no sign boards in place, finally after a number of enquiries found the service center. The person in charge was so busy on his mobile; I had to wait until his call was over. EVEN WITHOUT SEEING THE CAR, the guy said no spare parts available here and referred to Kochi
    It is 11.30 am, Kochi ~75 kms from kottayam, I called up the service center in Kochi as it was important for me to fix it rather that wait till the spare parts are available. I reached service center by 1 pm and came to know that it’s BREAK time. The girl in the reception was kind enough to take up the complaint and told me to wait at the family lounge. I was accompanied by my mom who is a diabetic. Luckily, she carried some sweets with her. Even after the siren rang to resume work, point-of-contact for Logan was missing. The girl understood my frustration and made some calls until a guy turned up and took care of the complaint by 1.45 pm
    I took my mom to a nearby restaurant for lunch, got a call from the girl by 2.15 that the car is ready. She handed over me the gate pass with all formalities done as the cost incurred is within the warranty period. I was in a hurry to reach my home as we have to attend a function later that day, forgot to thank the girl in the reception who took the initiative and get all things done

    Logan is my first and last car( hope so). I feel safe while driving this car. I had purchased this car on 23 Nov 2007 from Noida ( koncept).

    I don’t know why the company didn’t created/ modified( at least after 3 yr) the design based on the driving in specific country rules. As in logan I am sure every one will facing the problem related with the wiper ( front miror) the wiper positions are totaly wrong based on the indian driving rules.

    POOR Service.

    on 31st July Logan petrol was given for routine service (sri durga, new delhi). They returned the car without washing etc. Moreever CARs AC stopped working since then.

    I visited them twice after that but it looks they have no time to look into this issue. Now I have no option but to get rid of this wonderful car just because of poor management of service department. It is wastage of time + money.

    think before you buy this car as they have only 2/3 service centers in NCR & you car maintenance will be on their mercy.

    yes regarding gift, they promoised the same to me as well in 2007 but till date no clue. anyways I will never try this brand for anything. they commit but do not deliver.

    Dear friends.. Please don’t buy this car. I will let you know my experience. My car is only 2 yrs and 3months old and as I was having lot of faith on Mahindra engine I didn’t take extended warranty. Now when I had problem of AC not working and suddenly radiator belt broken on road one day, I sent my car for Servicing to authorized Service center i.e. G3 motors in Malad. After checking the car he has told me multiple problems with pulleys, AC coil, Gear set, Alternator, etc. Now its costing me 30000 Rs. And even after complaining to Mahindra office I can’t get any support on this. My car has daily running of 40Kms only, total running is 23480Kms only, I did all free services on time after every six months, Car never had accidents, now decide whether to buy or not.

    I purchased Mahindra Logan GLX PETROL model two yrs back, I had some petty problems but last 8 days I am facing a very serious problem. My car got stuck due to ignition key locked insied the swith. After trying a lot the key half broked into the switch. As I was not in city area I had to toe my vehicle to Mahindra showroom viz Silver Jubilee ltd. Chinchwad PUne for repairs. They told me to replace switch and had to be procured from the Mahindra Co. Till date the car is not completely repaired. The fault in the switch is due to technical/electronic error. I had to change the whole locking set which was not my fault. I feel the Co. should reimburse the cost of this new lock set. Pl advise. cell: 9850812494 my car no MH 14 BC 9106

    I am planning to buy a Logan but based on some of the reviews, I am a bit worried about the after sales issues. And I don’t think modifying it will cure the car cause the main problem is the car itself.

    Today only I came to know Mahindra Renault Logan brand is going to stop it’s business together. I am a owner of Mahindra Logan 1.4 GLE. Could you please let me know if I want to sell this CAR, how I’ll do that. It is very unfortunate, one fine morning we will come to know you people are going to stop this brand.
