Yes, Logan is a disappointing, considering that the hype generated. Seriously under-powered. But in a country which is preparing a car for $ 3k, this is expected. Do you need market research, .. for what? There is a great line of sub-standard cars coming behind Tata and Maruti with their (ridiculous) 600cc cars. The main idea is competing against Auto-rickshaws, I guess.
In India, cheap is always better.

The ratings on the various sites, Logan seems to be a no-nonsense, efficient, inexpensive car. Since the last three days, I try to back a call from the Thane dealer of the vehicle and in spite of my calls, they could not find the time and tend to call me back. I am afraid that if the pre-sale response is so good, what will happen poste-sale.
The foregoing observations, yes, that’s cheap, goes well in India, and after seeing some 45 countries, I think the whole world thinks that way:)), the only difference is that other countrymen not downplay their country on the slightest provocation, unless they upstarts. What’s the 600 CC, one may know that these cars are available for quite some time in various European countries and the Far East.
5.AJ Review
This call the car and a terrible shame might have been born in Mercs and BMWs! Or
may have spent their youth spoil the seats of a Rolls Royce or Lamborghini!
Or perhaps have spent their teenage years burning rubber of the Ferrari? S or Porsche? S!
Guys realistic and Thursday? T over exaggerate. Given the available space and the condition of the roads we have here, to build a car for the conditions.
Unless there are people who often drive to the U.S. of A in the weekend.

I hope that people wanted the answer to the questions LOGAN techniques with regard to the review is concerned. I would appreciate if someone drop a few lines on the performance and to build the machine instead of wasting time to write stupid things.

What I waited impatiently for LOGAN be available here in Trivandrum. But with so many contradictory reports began to have doubts. At about a return a few hours, took a road test. It authorized all my confusion. Just requested an order form and gave a cheque. That? S it.
Drive and you will know that this is a good car. After all that you do not buy a ferari or a limousine. It is a practice VFM car that you need, what is pleasant to visit (I would say, is a pleasure to drive) and looks good.

I just bought a Logan 1.4 GLE Dusshera under the scheme. Onroad cost was INR 4.58 Lac in Delhi (or just about $ 11,400).
He decided to get the power windows, music system, head restraints, roof, fog lamps, PC trip meter, side beadings and other accessories added outside by a seller of car accessories-soon! Within INR 525000, I had converted to GLS model, which is the highest model currently available in 1.4 variant petro-road prices from showroom is INR 576000, so I saved a fresh 50K)
time around comfort? this machine is really wide on the back seat .. he owned a Santro and a Honda City, this machine feels like sitting in a mini-sized aircraft. Drivers? S seat is comfortable, ample leg space. Guide 80Kms/hr not feel the bumpy roads of Delhi & Gurgaon because of its big step.
The car does however have a little purring noise that I refused to put more rubber coating on the front windscreen and a good music SONY Explode system with tweeters in front.
Media? A city with AC, is it? S giving me an average of 13 (I? Fri already driven 5000 km). Without AC, is compressed up to 17 (it’s tested more than 100 km or about 6 litres of petrol just to be sure it wasn? A fluke!)
- Top speed 150 km Touched on the main road (Delhi-Chandigarh ), But was not sure his power braking, so I did not try it on long distance.
Colors-I went for the silver and foggy Torreador Red also found attractive.
Bootspace-A usurp and declare it final, I could fit in a wheelchair, a 4 years of age? S kid bicycle, two large suitcases for a week? S trip to Manali for a family of 5 persons (3 adults and two kiddos) plus had enough space to get in the same amount again. I don? T think both the Honda City & Santro put together would be able to get things very compressed inches It? S aero-dynamic interior form (although strange watching from the back outside) provided the leverage to store max-a – Max in his bootspace.
Pickup / Performance-Not a car to zip when the red light turns green, this machine? S vice is that you need to treat it like a lady. I was able to see better performance when I added ipetro envelopes (INR approximately 500 to 2 litres, which is added to gasoline once in 3 months), but then I bought this car not for speed but for the ride comfort.
The interiors are a little ‘tacky (unlike the city which is a TITANIC itself), the dashboard could do with some’ color / ergenomics better and the car has an aspect plastic. Adding a roof in all models make it more zingy and sport research.
All in all, I would call a quality / price ratio car. The only negative aspect that I found was the marketing. The company reps voice until I called their toll-free Mumbai centre have no idea of present systems, nor could provide details of how many cars were sold / gone into production since the release. The saleslady at the showroom (except what I addressed) really does not seem keen to entertain clients and were more interested in the afternoon chit-chat). For a car? S just left, I expect that all sales would be concentrated on it.
Another act of adoption Mahindra: ICICI & Reliance are not the only banks available?. Try to other Indian banks that offer financing options less costly? After all customers are aware of what? S exists on the market. If you want to be a leader, learn to obtain the basic marketing techniques to the right!

I’m going to logan DLE model. As for my research is really good car and value for money.
2 my friends who already has logan I am really satisfied with the performance. As for them in cities are always 22 and media had Highway 24.
I believe that before we comment you need very clear what you are saying and must make a proper search. Only Don? T to go gossips. There are people who know comment with the fundamental principles and those who rated poor in performance that they fall into that category.
Watching the wise men say that is poor compared to other cars. but for small budget 6lakhs car is better

I purchased logan 1.4GLX on 7-11-2009 from ‘East Africa Motors – Godhra’ Gujarat. from first day my car has problem in acceletor padel. I complained it many times to the dealer but they are unable to solve my problem and they come out every time with many excuses. there service is very bad. if my problem is not solved now I will be forced to go in customer court against the company and dealer.

What is the use of taking extended warranty at the cost of Rs. 14-15
thousand for and get this type of service & treatment?
Alternatively can you ask any of your dealer in Delhi to contact me &
rectify the Fault under warranty. I had purchased the car from M/s
Sterling Faridabad but I have been transferred to Ghaziabad now.

Dear Sir / Madam
I am putting this on record after suffering badly from very bad
quality service & workmenship rendered by M/s Shiva Auto Car (India)
Pvt Ltd. at their workshop in Sahibabad, Ghaziabad, UP.
I gave my car for Paid servicing on 21.08.2010 the car was returned to
me in the late evening without doing complete job, as these were
Ramzan days & most of the staff were keeping roza and use to leave
early without doing their complete work as told to me by other staff
present in their workshop. The Air flow setting of AC of my car was
disturbed after opening the dashboard for attending a loose wiring
leading to cabine-door light. I paid Rs. 6696/= for an incomplete
job.
I registered my complaint to their telecaller & they promissed to
attend & rectify the defects. After persistently following up they
agreeed to attend to the incomplete jobs and on 31.03.2011 they
attended to Air flow setting of the car. The AC air flow was
adjusted but the connections of the CD player were not made which I
checked up after comming home as the mouth of the CD player was not
allowed in the w/shop. Also the car was now returned in the evening
making noise from engine in idle running condition. I had to pay Rs
2065/= including Ac service charges & Misc work charges to the tune
of Rs. 800/=
Imediately I pointed out these defects which were not there when the
car was given to their workshop in the morning. My car was then
picked up by the workshop staff on 03.02.11 & I was told on phone that
the noise comming from engine was from AC Motor belt or Alternator
belt bearings which need to be changed, I pointed out & submitted the
certificates of extended warranty of my car.
After doing all the formalities my car was returned to me on
10.02.2011 (after 8 days) after changing the Rubber pads of the gear
box, torque rod etc and the alternator as told to me for which they
had reportedly taken sanction from M/s Mahindra. Again I had to pay

When the car was returned to me the AC air flow was again disturbed
and when I repeatedly took up the matter with them and questioned as
to what type of service is given by them they agreed to adjust the AC
air flow properly.
On 16.03.2011 they picked up my car and took it to their Sahibabad
Workshop. I was told over telephone that a box in the AC from where
Air flow is directed is Broken & needs replacement. The cost of the
box as told to me on phone is about Rs. 10000/=.
When I contended with them that the car has been attended thrice by
them in their workshop it was never told to me that this part of the
AC is broken. More over the car has never been attennded by any other
person other than their staff in their workshop how this part can get
broken except due to mishandling by untrained staff or bad
workmenship of their staff in the workshop.
I told them that since my car is under warranty and the damage if any
to the AC part has been caused by them at their workshop for which am
not going to pay. Further, I insisted that the AC part need to be
changed by them at their cost or under the warranty terms.
After all this they dropped my car at my residence on 16.03.2011 with
out attending to the above defect or replacing the broken AC part.
this has been told by the Driver of the workshop. On checking the air
flow of the AC he told that the defect has not been attended. He
brought a bill of Rs. 176/= for Misc work which I refused to pay & I
spoke on phone to Mr. Thomas of M/s Shiva Auto about the same he
advised the driver to leave the car.
After suffering so much due to bad workmenship mishandling & poor
customer care & customer service I feel dejected & repent my decision
to buy a Logan Car from M/s Mahindra.
I am putting this complaint with a hope that the above defect in my
car is rectified and the broken Ac part in my car is replace
immediately as my car is still under warranty till August 2011. I have
suffered so much for which M/s Shiva Auto is made accountable.
Hope to get solution from M/s Mahindra urgently.

i own a mahindra logan 1.6 petrol model, which i purchased about 3 years back. here is a series of unfortunate events which happened to me commencing from 15 days back. the car stopped abruptly midway while i was returning home from my clinic in the afternoon and refused to move a single inch. when i contacted the service station and told them about the problem they said they will be able to provide the towing service only in the morning. despite the asurance they were able to tow it after 2 days!!! after inspecting they said that a part is broken which they dont have it here in jodhpur and it would take them 7 days to transport it from nasik… are your snail speeded personell living in stone age for heaven’s sake!!! and now when it arrives finally the part is broken!!! and would take another 7 days to dispatch a new piece. is there no sense of responsibility in the goddamn company?????/
and this is only the recent event i m stating. my past experiences with the car and the company are no sweeter. 2 months ago the car stopped while driving and showed problems in ignition. the people in the customer care centre are careless of customer grievances and dont keep the car ready at time. we went there almost 3 times after which finally they looked into the problem onlny after we had to literally make a scene at the service station.. and despite that they handover the car to us all coverved with dust and pigeon’s shit!!!

after promising us that the car will be ready by today, when i called them i learnt that the part concerned has still not been dispatched from there!!!
it is to be noted that the company if dispatches it right now they would take another 7 days to get it here. moreover there was no information to us regarding this all this while.they have been keeping us in dark..
